Israel-Hamas war: According to the Palestinian Water Authority, the second water line into Gaza has been restored.

A second connection that supplies water to central Gaza from Israel has been turned back on, the Palestinian Water Authority informed CNN.

Water that Gaza buys from Israel is delivered to the enclave via three lines. At one time, every line was disconnected. Ten days ago, the authorities said, a line that leads to southern Gaza was closed.

A second line has now been repaired, according to the Palestinian Water Authority. It can produce fifteen thousand cubic meters a day.

The Palestinian Water Authority stated that although it is making efforts to guarantee that the water reaches communities in central Gaza, the task is challenging due to the fact that it is no longer in contact with its colleagues on the ground.
